Why URL fragment?
The part after # is never sent to servers. Your note never touches our backend or any analytics. It only exists in the URL itself.
Privacy caveats
Whoever sees the URL sees the note. Browser history, bookmark sync, and any chat app the URL is sent through will have the contents. Don\u2019t use for true secrets.
Length limits
URLs are unofficially capped at 2,048 chars (IE), 8,192 chars (most modern browsers). For longer notes, use a real sharing service.
